I really wanted to write you and say
WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! I can’t tell you how impressed I
was with your class and boy was it jammed with information. I
don’t really get a chance to take many classes and decided to
take yours on a whim. I remembered your work from the Worcester
center and was really looking for a boost…fresh
approach….inspiration (you get it) on what I felt was a stale
point in my glass work……I find it tough to really be
creative when frankly we have been selling more conventional beads but
you have really lifted my spirits up again and I can’t thank you
enough. Your skills as an instructor, not just an artist were
outstanding. Not every talented person can teach a class and
share what you shared so effectively. Looking forward to crossing
paths again sometime. Thanks so much! A very appreciative fan! "I have to say, my class with you in Traverse City Michigan last year was incredible. I learned so much from you and have incorporated your techniques into my own style. You opened up another world for me and I thank you for being so sharing. I know there is a huge discussion regarding "copying" but you encouraged your students to explore different avenues artistically while providing the techniques to do so. To take these technques and reformat them in our own brains is so freeing.. A true sign of a teacher and artist who is not bound by any rules....You are the best! Thank you...you are refreshing!" -Jan "I took your class at Sandy's in Omaha and I learned quite a bit from you. one of the things you said is that the only thing you can really call your own are your accidents or something like that. You sort of freed me of this concept of having to accomplish a certain something when all I needed to do was discover the glass and what it could do if I let myself go with it. You are an awesome teacher and I hope everyone gets a chance to learn from you in person........thanks again " - Deb "Hi Jen – Thanks again for the wonderful class at Sharon Art Center – I am so surprised that I took such good notes – when I was rereading them hoping to get back to my torch, I could almost still see you making the beads. You are really a great teacher and also generous with the techniques that you share. What fun I had!....................the class made me fall in love with soft glass again. Thanks for that too! Cheers," -Sally "Hi Jennifer, I thoroughly enjoyed your class. The class was a birthday gift from my husband. After the class I told him he really got me something special. I have gone over all of my notes and now that the weather is cooling down I can start making beads in the garage. I feel I walked away from your class with much information and techniques I can’t wait to put to use." - H"Hey Jen! Just wanted to thank you for an amazing class this weekend. I learned so much and my head is full of ideas! As I told you before, I think your beads have so much soul and there is so much of you in your work. I'm off to blow some shards and play with enamels. Thanks again!" - Mary |
